Meet  Maddy!

Maddy chose a career in speech therapy to help others communicate with loved ones. She has always been passionate about problem solving to accomplish goals.

Background: Maddy received her bachelors and masters degrees at universities in Florida. She has lived in Atlanta since 2017, working to find children’s strengths to best communicate.

Continued Education: Maddy completed the Meaningful Speech course in 2022 to help gestalt language processors achieve spontaneous communication using a natural language acquisition approach. Her areas of expertise include early language, gestalt language processing, AAC, articulation, and more.

Meet  Maggie!

Maggie has experience treating clients of all ages, across a variety of populations, for a range of speech, language, and feeding disorders. Maggie enjoys making therapy play-based and functional to meet the needs of all client and family interests. Neuro-affirming care and child-led therapy are at the core of Maggie’s therapeutic approach.

Her specializes in feeding, gestalt language processing, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) 

Maggie has experience working with software companies such as Dynavox, PRC, and Saltillo to obtain devices for children, as well as ongoing therapeutic use of a variety of devices.

Maggie’s favorite part about the field is the connections she makes with clients and their families! In her spare time, Maggie enjoys fostering dogs, reading, exercising, getting outdoors, and spending time with friends.

    Teamwork

    Therapy is a team effort. SLP’s earned a masters degree in communication, but a family is the expert of a child. We involve family whenever possible to ensure the most effective therapy possible.
